Project Controls Director, New Power Plants

About the role:

As a Director AP1000 Project Controls you will responsible for providing project controls leadership and support for the portfolio of North America APX projects, and development opportunities in the Americas around Feasibility Studies, FEED Studies, and early Engineering Services works.

You will report to the Senior Director APX North America Projects and be located at our Cranberry Township office. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our office

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the APX Portfolio Director NA in developing an overall portfolio cost and schedule baseline across the NA portfolio of APX Projects, as well as monitoring overall cost and schedule performance during execution on a day to day basis.
• Support NA APX Project Directors through their individual Project Controls Directors/Managers in developing project specific cost and schedule baselines and monitoring of performance against those baselines.
• Support the APX Portfolio Director NA for pre-ESC development projects in developing project specific cost and schedule baselines and monitoring of performance against those baselines
• Support proposal teams for AP1000 development opportunities in developing scope, schedule and cost for potential new AP1000 reactor projects.
• Work with functional APX Project Controls leadership to ensure that needed expertise and numbers of resources are available to support the portfolio of NA APX projects in execution of scope within the agreed schedule.
• Develop with functional APX Project Controls leadership to develop standardized approaches to project controls and implement necessary project controls project specific processes to support project execution efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in engineering, construction management or project management
• 10 years of applicable experience 
• Experience with large engineering projects 

Beneficial:

• Master's degree project management or business administration desirable
• Experience with Power Plant Construction / Experience with Nuclear

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $162,000 to $202,500 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
