What You Need to be Successful in this Role:

The Senior level Accountant will support Matric by understanding customer needs and their respective job duties. The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the general accounting functions of the company, as assigned, in order to meet and satisfy current and future company requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger accounting, cost analysis, inventory and fixed asset management, audit support, month-end closing, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
  • The role also provides analysis and reporting to help management monitor costs, inventory, and overall financial performance.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting.
  • Strongly prefer at least two years practical experience in accounting profession.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment is desired.
