Physical Therapist (PT) – Full Time


Crane Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic & Swing Bed Services


Crane Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and serve a close-knit rural community. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, one-on-one care in both outpatient and inpatient/Swing Bed settings while building strong relationships with patients and the community.

Position Summary


The Physical Therapist provides evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitative services to patients across outpatient and hospital-based settings. The PT works collaboratively with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), support staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to restore function, prevent disability, and promote optimal patient outcomes.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform initial patient evaluations and ongoing reassessments.
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to physicians and care teams.
  • Supervise PTAs, technicians, and support staff involved in patient care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement and departmental initiatives.

Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Texas Physical Therapist license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year of experience preferred; rural, inpatient, or outpatient experience a plus.
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.
