SAIC is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician V to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) testing and repair on RFBU (Radio Frequency Blanking Unit) CCAs.

Review documentations, standard operating procedures, and drawings to determine component root cause analysis troubleshooting.
Operate hand tools and test equipment
Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues/malfunctions using specialized test equipment and diagnostic tools.
Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment
Installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying various types of equipment, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data.
Supports engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of electromechanical systems.
Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing
Analyze test results/determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
