SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for defense and electronic warfare systems within the SPIN/MUEU lab environment
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient C++ code following object-oriented design principles and best practices
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software design documents (SDD), interface control documents (ICD), test plans, procedures and perform code reviews
Debug and troubleshoot complex hardware/software integration issues in a lab setting
Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and government customers to define and refine software requirements
Support software configuration management and version control processes
Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), and program milestone events
Ensure compliance with applicable coding standards, safety requirements, and DoD software development guidelines
