The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Proposal Writer Assistant to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Cranston, RI. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Proposal Writer in producing and revising proposals.
- Conduct research to support proposal development.
- Compile proposal support materials, documentation, and appendices.
- Review and proofread proposals for clarity, grammar, and punctuation.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather proposal information.
- Ensure proposal compliance with RFP (Request for Proposal) instructions and specifications.
- Maintain and update proposal database.
- Participate in proposal strategy, review, and editing sessions.
- Assist in creating proposal templates and outlines.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Proposal Writer Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and pressure.
- Experience in research and data collection.
- Understanding of business and proposal language.
