Job Summary

The Flex Operator safely operates router machinery, meets quality and production standards, and supports efficient operations through training and teamwork while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Will rotate and safely operate machines in Router.
Ability though training, learning, testing and demonstrated competency.
Must be able to maintain quality and production rates.
Progression process and criteria will be communicated.
Must perform housekeeping, use applicable tools and accurately maintain necessary records.
Set-up and change simple fixturing and standard tooling.
Responsible for 5s in work area.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

High school diploma/GED
Assistance and reliability: The employee may rely on reporting to work at the scheduled time and is rarely absent from work. The employee may need to complete the work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner and is aware of assignments.
Communication and contact: The employee will communicate effectively with management members, the leader, and the team.
Relationships with others: The employee exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
This job operates in a manufacturing environment and is exposed to dust, odors, and noise. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions that can be found on the production floor. The noise level in the work environment can be strong.
