Job Summary

We are seeking an analytical and safety-minded Team Lead for Cycle Counts to oversee our inventory validation processes. In this role, you will lead physical counting procedures, investigate inventory discrepancies, and ensure data integrity within our manufacturing ERP system. You will act as a critical bridge between operations and the finance team to maintain accurate stock levels.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an inventory control position or a highly relevant warehousing/manufacturing role.

Inventory Expertise: Proven experience with physical inventory counting procedures, material handling, and inventory control.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with manufacturing ERP systems, MS Office, Outlook, and at least moderate skill level in Microsoft Excel.

Equipment Skills: Prior experience operating a forklift is strongly preferred.

Leadership & Communication: Influential leadership skills to keep a team focused, alongside strong verbal and written communication skills to work across cross-functional departments.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to trace and resolve inventory variances.

Integrity: Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity with zero compromise regarding ethical and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Cycle Count Execution: Perform and assist with physical cycle counts.  Utilize ERP system, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel to communicate cycle data and results. Coordinate AUX cycle counts.

Reporting & Documentation: Generate cycle count sheets and other inventory reports, distribute morning "Do Not Move" reports, and assist with daily data for the Daily Management Meeting (DMM).

Discrepancy Resolution: Conduct physical counts of parts with negative quantities on-hand, perform recounts from the daily cycle review for parts that are in non-conformance.

Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift and utilize industrial scales to determine accurate container quantities.

System Management: Enter count sheets, identify recounts, process manual count requests, handle work order reversals, and manage scrap entries for molding and assembly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance on month-end reporting, adjustments, and reconciliations. Collaborate with team leads to research inventory problems and build operational dashboards.

Other Duties: Perform other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned by management to support operational needs.

Physical Demands

  • Continuously operating a forklift (PIT) and using foot controls.
  • Walking, sitting, reaching forward, bending, twisting while seated, and handling items up to 25 lbs.
  • Standing, climbing ladders/stairs, working overhead, stooping, squatting, and sweeping or mopping.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling parts and equipment up to 50 lbs.

  • Move up 1 Wage Level = 3% increase or to minimum of Wage Level (greater)
  • Move up 2+ Wage Levels = 5% increase or to minimum of Wage Level (greater)
  • Move down a Wage Level = Loss of one half of your last promotional increase
