We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Wakulla Correctional Institution- Annex located in Crawfordville, Florida. The Registered Nurse (RN) (Mental Health) is responsible for providing nursing care to incarcerated patients, including conducting health assessments, administering medications and treatments, providing patient education, documenting care, and coordinating with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN works closely with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure patients have access to quality healthcare services while incarcerated, participating in and leading group classes for incarcerated patients as needed. Qualifications Associate's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Supervisory experience preferred Corrections experience preferred Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
