Responsibilities

  • Direct, oversee, and evaluate the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures that include setup actions for product runs; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; and providing corrective actions as required.
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for preventive maintenance programs.
  • Oversee inside/outside repair actions for buildings and grounds following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Oversee inside/outside, minor/major emergency repairs as required for buildings, grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Conduct and complete employee performance reviews; recommend personnel actions such as hirings, promotions, or unbiased discipline; and prepare maintenance and/or other shift reports as required.
  • Oversee computerized control and monitoring of mechanical equipment.
  • Coordinate and/or oversee cleanup actions adhering to housekeeping requirements after maintenance or repair actions are completed.
