About the Role:

The Assistant Coach Track plays a vital role in supporting the head coach to develop and enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes in track and field events. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an assistant or head coach in an educational setting.
  • Certification from a recognized coaching organization (e.g., USATF Level 1 or higher).
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and promoting inclusivity.
  • Knowledge of sports nutrition and injury prevention strategies.
  • Familiarity with performance analysis tools and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and implementing comprehensive training sessions for various track and field disciplines.
