Job DetailsJob Location: Dee Manufacturing LLC - Crookston, MN 56716Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $22.66 - $26.66 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Manufacturing Position Summary/Objective A Casting Laborer is responsible for assisting in the production process of aluminum castings, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the foundry environment.   Essential Functions Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist in the setup and operation of molds for aluminum casting. Pour molten aluminum into molds and ensure proper flow and cooling. Inspect aluminum castings for defects and assist with quality control processes. Handle and transport materials such as metal ingots, sand, and other foundry supplies. Clean and maintain casting equipment, molds and work areas. Monitor the temperature and condition of molten metal to ensure quality standards. Follow safety protocols and wear required protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Assist with the unloading and storage of castings once they have cooled. Perform other general labor tasks as directed by Manager or supervisor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,  peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
