Previous Machine Shop experience.   Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: Have the ability to function as a team Have the ability to communicate effectively Use basic shop tools, lifting devices and measuring devices Use basic shop math Read and understand work instructions written in English Have the ability to hear and distinguish between normal and abnormal noises Hand dexterity to manipulate small gauges, knobs and controls Have the ability to stand for extended periods of time (8 – 10 hours) Have the ability to repeatedly and frequently lift up to 50lbs unassisted
