The role involves significant interaction with customers, providing service that is both informative and empathetic, addressing questions and directing queries to pharmacists when necessary. Technicians are expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and insurance protocols to assist patients effectively. Daily responsibilities also include managing patient medication synchronization, bubble packing, over the counter medication and front-end management. The work environment requires collaboration with a broad team, including pharmacists, healthcare providers, patients, and pharmacy managers, highlighting the necessity of strong interpersonal and organizational skills.   About the Cuyuna Lakes Pharmacy Department Accessible Medications, Trusted Guidance In the retail pharmacies located within Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s main campus and the Super One grocery store in Crosby, we provide convenient, community-focused medication services that ensure patients receive the prescriptions, education, and support they need to stay healthy. Our pharmacy is more than just a place to pick up medications-it's a trusted resource for expert guidance, personalized counseling, and preventative care. Whether filling prescriptions, administering vaccines, or helping patients manage complex medication regimens, we are committed to making healthcare easier, safer, and more accessible for every person we serve. We work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are critical, ensuring that every prescription is filled correctly and that patients understand how to take their medications safely. Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills Resilient Self-directed and organized Good customer service skills Knowledge of pharmaceutical products QualificationsEducation and Experience Required Current MN driver's license Successfully complete the certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) course or possess certification within two years of hire Successful completion of the data entry and pharmacy nomenclature standards as administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Human Resources staff High School Diploma Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy (must show in good standing prior to first day) Preferred Completion of a Certified Pharmacy Technician course   Compensation and Benefits The pay range is listed above.
