Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? Do you enjoy problem-solving and ensuring products meet the highest standards? Plastic Ingenuity is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team and help ensure we deliver safe, high-quality products to our customers.

Position Summary

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process. You will inspect, test, and measure products to ensure they meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This position works closely with production teams to identify quality concerns, investigate defects, and support continuous improvement efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Perform visual inspections and quality testing of manufactured parts.
  • Read and interpret quality control specifications and customer requirements.
  • Verify products meet dimensional and quality standards using measuring instruments and testing equipment.
  • Identify, investigate, and document nonconforming products.
  • Analyze inspection data and report quality concerns.
  • Operate precision measuring equipment, including CMMs, vision systems, gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools.
  • Ensure measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Communicate quality requirements, sampling procedures, and testing expectations with production employees.
  • Distribute inspection tools, gauges, fixtures, and check sheets as needed.
  • Support compliance with ISO standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Utilize computer software to measure, inspect, and document quality results.
  • Promote a safe work environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong math and measurement skills.
  • 1–2 years of quality inspection experience.
  • Ability to read specifications and accurately interpret inspection requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
