CNC Programmer Operator
Location: Croton-on-Hudson, NY
Compensation: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour + Shift Differential

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a CNC Programmer Operator to join their at their facility in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.Ā  Both DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment and requires strong setup and programming capabilities.Ā This position is for a working CNC operator/programmer, not a supervisory or management role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate CNC machines according to specifications.
  • Create CNC programs for Lathes, VMCs (Vertical Machining Centers), and Multi-Spindle Machines.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Work with production teams to implement process improvements.
  • Document setup procedures and machine performance.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus).
  • Experience creating CNC programs for Lathes, VMCs, and Multi-Spindle machines is required.
  • Candidates will be asked to create a program during the interview process.
  • Previous CNC setup and operation experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet ITAR/DOD compliance requirements.
