Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, self-directed individual to play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across machining and production environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline requiredÂ
- 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a machining or fabrication environmentÂ
- Strong experience with CNC machining processes, programming, setup, tooling, and fixture designÂ
- Solid understanding of process optimization and lean manufacturing principlesÂ
- Experience working with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similarÂ
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)Â
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsÂ
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentÂ
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and standardize manufacturing processes and work instructions to improve efficiency and consistencyÂ
- Analyze production data to identify and resolve process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and quality issuesÂ
- Provide hands-on support on the shop floor, assisting with troubleshooting and process improvementsÂ
- Design and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve accuracy and setup efficiencyÂ
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure processes meet specificationsÂ
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to manufacturing methods, equipment, and technologyÂ
- Support new product introduction by developing process flows, documentation, and tooling requirementsÂ
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and support continuous improvement initiativesÂ
- Train production staff on new or updated processesÂ
