CSP Technician II (1.0 FTE Alternating)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Pick cases and inventory CSP instrumentation

• Verify that equipment functions properly, requisition for equipment maintenance or repair

• Monitor biological and chemical measurements to ensure quality of sterilization of instruments

• Decontaminate and sterilize instruments and vendor pans.

• Assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.

• Sort mismatched sets of instruments, trays and make them available to sterile processing customers in a timely manner.

• Monitor, maintain, label and stocking of inventory.

• Shift M- F with Rotating Weekends- 2PM-10:30PM

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate Degree Preferred

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• 1 year Surgery Preferred

• 1 year Experience in Related Field Required

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Required or

• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution Required
