Sonic Summary

The position involves surveillance, analysis, and reporting of nosocomial infections while educating employees on infection control practices.
Responsibilities include rounding in the Operating Room and SPD area, as well as developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred for this role.
Candidates should have at least six years of nursing experience and four years of experience specifically in Infection Control.
Certification in BLS, TB, and Infection Control is required, with a competitive salary offered for qualified applicants.

Responsible for the surveillance, analysis, and reporting of nosocomial infections; educating employees about infection control; rounding in the Operating Room, SPD area; and the development of policies and procedures to insure rigorous infection control standards that meet OSHA, Public Health Department, and Center for Disease Control requirements

Requirements

Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Six (6) or more years of nursing experience and four (4) or more years of Infection Control experience. BLS, TB and Infection Control certification.
