Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Crown Point, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, campus, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
