Provides technical support to the surgeon, registered nurses, and anesthesiologist in the operating room and works to create a safe and sterile environment before, during and after patient surgery.聽聽
Performs tasks like:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures that all supplies and equipment needed for the procedure are present and in working order.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists with inventory and pulling cases
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Sets up and maintains sterile field according to established practices
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists with patient positioning and draping
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Passes instruments, supplies and equipment to the surgeon
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform counts, prepare and handle sterile dressings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist other team members with turn over of the operating room
Ortho/spine experience preferred.
Requirements
Certification required
1-2 years experience聽
