Metal Prep I

Assist in the manufacturing of recycling machinery by grinding, sanding and other methods of metal preparation and finishing.

Requirements

• Safely utilize hand and power tools (grinders, sanders, and other metal finishing tools) to aid in manufacturing of machinery
• Clean and prepare fabricated parts for manufacturing processes
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to perform basic math skills

Physical Requirements 

Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Stand for extended periods of time
• Sit, Stoop, Bend
• Reach above shoulders
• Lift 50 pounds
