What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed packaging equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.
  • Complete emergency repairs, routine inspections, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Maintenance teams to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate packaging line performance and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and output.
  • Maintain critical spare parts inventory and coordinate calibrations or validations with contractors as assigned.
  • Support facility maintenance needs, including structural and exterior repairs, and assist with complex maintenance projects.

What You’ll Bring

  • Five or more years of experience maintaining and operating high-speed packaging equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food production.
  • Strong working knowledge of equipment controls, manufacturing technologies, and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and exercise sound judgment when responding to issues.
  • High school diploma or GED required, with bilingual English/Spanish skills and basic refrigeration knowledge preferred.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms, with occasional sitting and reaching.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts and perform tasks at elevated heights when required.
  • Exposure to wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, and moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Daily work in a refrigerated production environment.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
