Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: McKinley Paper Company Prewitt Mill - Prewitt, NM 87045Education Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $15.91 HourlyJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Entry LevelThis position is generally responsible for the cleaning and maintaining the Prewitt mill property.  This includes the outside well as the inside of the plant building. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  (This list is not all inclusive and may not include all duties assigned): Abide by all BPI safety, general and procedural policies. Operate all designated equipment in a safe and productive manner. Maintain a presentable appearance of the plant outside areas, including landscaping. Maintain a presentable appearance of the plant inside areas. Perform fire watch and hole watch duties. SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not all inclusive and may not include all duties assigned): Assist mill operations during scheduled and unscheduled shuts. Train on entry level tasks in maintenance department. Qualifications Be a self-motivator, function with minimal supervision. Have basic hand tool knowledge Be able to operate mobile equipment such as man lifts, fork trucks, loader and bobcats. Possess minor carpentry skills Be willing to work nights, weekends and/or at short notice if required    Fork Lift Certification preferred    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job; the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and sit. Required climbing of all types of ladders. Required reaching with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Vision must meet legal requirements for operating a vehicle
