Summary: 
This role is for an in‑person Speech‑Language Pathologist providing weekly speech therapy services to students with IEPs at Crownpoint Community School (NM). Duties include IEP reviews, meetings, and documentation, following the school calendar.
 Requirements:
The candidates must have:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathologist.
  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Speech/Language Pathologist license.                                                                                   
Duties:  
  • Provide on‑site speech therapy services to 30+ students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assess, treat, and monitor speech, language, articulation, fluency, and communication disorders.
  • Deliver therapy services weekly throughout the school year, coordinated with school schedules.
  • Provide compensatory education services during summer sessions as required.
  • Review student IEPs during the initial visit and throughout the school year.
  • Participate in on‑site IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education coordinators, administrators, and parents to support student progress.
  • Provide virtual or in‑person meetings and trainings (via Microsoft Teams when approved) to discuss therapy progress, data, and updates.
  • Maintain accurate service logs at the end of each therapy session.
  • Ensure all required documentation is properly filed in the NASIS system.
  • Protect student confidentiality and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) at all times in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Submit written progress documentation to designated school representatives.
  • Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and continuing eligibility throughout the contract period.
