Requirements:
The Speech Therapist must have:
路 Must provide a master鈥檚 degree in Speech Therapist from an accredited institution.
路 Must provide current State of New Mexico License/Certifications in Speech Therapist.
路 Must provide key personnel鈥檚 resume demonstrating experience as a special education teacher.
路 Must provide a signed letter of commitment confirming availability upon approval by the BIE.
路 Must successfully complete the required background investigation and security screening.
路 Must provide experience of work similar in size and scope to this requirement.
Duties:
路 Provide student related services as specified in the student鈥檚 IEP.
路 Provide on-site Speech Therapy services.
路 Participate in all student IEP meetings in-person or virtually.
路 Provide therapy plans for review and alignment of services to be rendered.
路 Provide written reports for the Individual Education Plans.
路 Submit quarterly progress reports and service logs.
路 Complete full summative reports for reevaluations or evaluations.
路 Provide parent/guardian involvement and answer questions related to student services.
路 Provide monthly invoices and documentation of services rendered.
路 Train local ESS staff as needed upon request.
