Seasonal | Part-Time | Evening Hours | Fun Atmosphere

Love the crack of the bat, the thrill of a close call, and being in the middle of the action?
Join our team as an Adult Softball Umpire!
We're looking for confident, energetic individuals to help keep the game fair, fun, and running smoothly for our recreational leagues.

Schedule:

• Weeknights, typically between 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• 8–20 hours per week (flexible based on your availability and league needs)

⚡ What You’ll Do:

• Enforce softball rules with fairness and authority (and a little bit of humor when needed)
• Keep the games running safely and smoothly
• Resolve on-field disputes like a pro
• Promote good sportsmanship among players
• Report any major incidents to the Athletic Supervisor
• Be a leader on the field and a friendly face for players and fans alike!

What You Bring:

• At least one year of umpiring, refereeing, or coaching experience
• A good grasp of recreational softball rules
• High school diploma and must be 21+ years old
• Cool under pressure – you can handle a little "enthusiastic feedback" from players
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to stand, move, and lift during games (up to 50 lbs if needed)

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Awesome!):

• Prior experience working with recreational leagues
• Leadership or supervisory background
• Ability to troubleshoot tricky situations with fairness and calmness
