JOB SUMMARY-Ā
The Night JanitorĀ is responsible forĀ maintainingĀ the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of ski area facilities during swing shift hours. Working after operational hours, this role ensures that lodges, restrooms, dining areas, rental shops, and other public spaces are thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next dayās guests. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and occasional snow/ice management at building entrances.Ā
This position requires the ability to work independently, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks in a cold-weather environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all resort visitors.Ā

ESSENTIAL DUTIES-Ā
Night JanitorsĀ are responsible forĀ the overall cleanliness of ourĀ facility.Ā This positionĀ worksĀ a swingĀ shift toĀ take advantage of the time that buildings are least occupied.Ā Ā
Engage and welcome all Crystal Mountain guestsĀ
Vacuum, sweep and mop all lodge floorsĀ and restroomsĀ
Deep cleanĀ and stock restroomsĀ
Transport trash and recycling toĀ appropriate containersĀ
Report any restroom or lodge maintenance to Facilities ManagerĀ
Shampoo carpetsĀ
Straighten tables and chairsĀ Ā Ā Ā

- Intermediate skiing or riding abilityĀ ā
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-Ā Ā
This positionĀ isĀ requiredĀ to workĀ nights,Ā weekdays,Ā weekendsĀ and holidaysĀ while in operation.Ā
Ability to work āswing shiftā hours from 2:30pm to 11pmĀ
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position aĀ minimum ofĀ 40Ā pounds on anĀ occasional basis.Ā
Manual dexterity toĀ operateĀ aĀ mop, vacuum,Ā and broom on a constant basis.Ā
Ability to work for extended periods ofĀ timeĀ bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.Ā
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling,Ā pushingĀ and pulling on an occasional basis.Ā
Talking and hearing occur continuouslyĀ in the process of communicatingĀ with guests,Ā supervisorsĀ and other employees.Ā Ā
