JOB SUMMARY   

 The primary purpose of a Night Ticket Checker is to audit the RFID gates, ensuring guests have the correct ticket type or pass during night ski operations. Night Ticket Checkers put away mazes at lifts and RFID gates. You will be required to perform and manage crowd control in lift lines. Night Ticket Checkers answer guest inquiries and resolve issues when appropriate, while elevating guest problems to the Night Ticket Checking Lead, Supervisor, or Lift Operations Management.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES –   

  • Check equipment in/out at beginning and end of shift   

  • Maintain snow conditions in and around mazes  

  • Use RFID scanning systems and Windows based tablets  

  • Set up and take down mazes and maintain maze integrity during work hours  

  • Be available to guide or answer guest questions while elevating larger concerns to a manager, supervisor, or lead  

  • Outgoing personality, self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented person   

  • Conduct crowd control in lift lines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS   

  • This position is required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours  

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move a minimum of 30 pounds on an occasional basis  

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis  

  • Working outside in various extreme cold, rain, and changing weather conditions for long periods of time  

  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time  

  • Be able to work flexible schedules  

  • Perform repetitive tasks  

  • Actively listen continuously throughout the day  

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills  

  • Excellent guest service skills  

  • Must be self-motivated and able to maximize use of time and resources
