Job Summary

Peoples Bank, a community bank based in Cuba, Missouri, is seeking a proactive and strategic Marketing Manager to coordinate and execute marketing initiatives that support the bank’s products, services, and community presence. Working under the direction of the VP of Marketing, this position is responsible for managing day-to-day marketing operations, creating and coordinating campaigns, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting the bank’s strategic marketing goals.

This role works closely with internal departments and external marketing partners to plan and implement marketing initiatives that promote customer engagement, business development, and brand awareness. As the bank’s primary marketing professional responsible for daily marketing activities, this role requires both campaign leadership and hands-on marketing execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies aligned with the bank’s growth objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital, social media, and community channels.
  • Develop and manage marketing content including advertisements, email campaigns, social media posts, website updates, and internal communications.
  • Maintain the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of website content and customer-facing materials.
  • Manage relationships with the bank’s external marketing agency and other marketing vendors, coordinating graphic design, promotional materials, and branded merchandise.
  • Coordinate photography sessions, commercial shoots, and creative projects with external partners.
  • Support product launches and marketing initiatives promoting deposit growth, lending programs, and digital banking services.
  • Coordinate marketing logistics for community events, sponsorships, and business development activities while representing the bank at public events when appropriate.
  • Manage the marketing calendar and assist with marketing budget tracking, vendor invoices, and campaign expenses.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare marketing updates and reports for internal leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Utilize CRM tools, customer surveys, and marketing analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with applicable banking regulations and internal policies.


Requirements

  

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in financial services or community banking
  • Strong writing and editing skills across digital and print formats
  • Proven ability to coordinate marketing campaigns, deadlines, and vendor relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or similar systems
  • Experience using CRM systems and social media management tools
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Passion for community engagement and local marketing initiatives

Physical Demands

  • Travel to branch locations and community events will be required
  • Ability to work at a desk for extended periods
