Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:Â
Must be familiar with all department operations-service line(s) to obtain maximum efficiency.Â
Report any problems with lifts or elevators to the Supervisor immediately.Â
Maintaining good housekeeping practices in workspace.Â
Sets up line(s) as required.Â
Supplies line(s) with raw material, packaging supplies, etc.Â
Keeps and takes inventories as necessary.Â
May assist in departmental cleanup as required.Â
Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.Â

Qualifications

The majority of the time is spent in the plant environment and will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.Â
Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.Â
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.Â
Must be able to lift packing materials and stack pallets to heights of 4-5 feet.Â
Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.Â
