LC State invites applications for the position of Landscape Technician, Senior.

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $18.27 - $20.67

Required Qualifications:

Either six months of experience performing duties of a Landscape Technician or one year of experience in flower gardening and general grounds maintenance work.
Grounds equipment maintenance and repair.
Valid driver's license
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Under supervision, do routine gardening, general landscaping, and grounds maintenance work; may instruct, lead, or supervise temporary workers; operate and maintain related equipment; perform related work.
Responsible for all aspects of landscaping, such as weeding, fertilizing, spraying, mulching, trimming hedges, cutting branches, and mowing lawns.
Assists other landscape and crafts staff performing their duties
Uses snow blowers, lawn mowers, airlift platforms, dollies, and carts
Removes waste and debris from areas
Duties may include setting up bleachers, portable flooring, tables, and chairs for special events
Shovels snow from walkways
Other duties as assigned.

Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
