Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As an Auto Mechanic, you will assist our customers by diagnosing and repairing issues with vehicles’ performance and function. As an Auto Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. Â
You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment and maintaining a welcoming environment.Â
The ideal candidate is skilled in vehicle repair and highly efficient.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Review work orders and discuss them with service advisors as needed
- Inspect vehicles and diagnose problems.
- Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance
- Perform quality repair and maintenance work on automotive systems
- Install equipment, components, and systems
- Record diagnostic findings, safety concerns and maintenance recommendations on Vehicle InspectionÂ
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience
- Exceptional knowledge of automotive and electronic systemsÂ
- Competency with shop equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic and A/C equipment, etc. Â
- Master ASE certification or willingness to acquireÂ
- Excellent time management, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Must have valid driver’s licenseÂ
