MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) to four (4) years of general office/clerical experience and customer service experience.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Performs general office support and routine day-to-day operations of a medium-sized, full-service branch that may be complex in nature including travelling between different locations to provide temporary assistance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs various loan administrative and servicing duties including answering borrower’s questions, resolving routine banking problems for customers, processing loan payments, routing applications, data entry, and due diligence required to guide loans and credit servicing through process.

2. Travel between different locations to provide assistance as needed to support with tasks such as customer service, administration, data entry and other operational duties.

3. Prepares, types, and processes forms such as those needed for office supplies, expense reports,

Answers incoming calls to department staff, representing department or association in a professional manner; relays messages; transfers calls to appropriate person for assistance; receives and refers visitors and telephone calls; responds to routine requests for information and refers more complex requests to appropriate staff members. Picks up, opens, sorts and distributes mail to appropriate personnel.

5. Responsible for monitoring loan covenants and other loan deadlines, indexing documents to the HUB, CRM/Farm View management and file retention.

6. Composes basic correspondence on well-defined matters. May be directed to respond to routine correspondence not requiring manager's attention; completes reports following prescribed formats.

7. May coordinate and schedule external and internal meetings, training activities, seminars, etc., through arranging for meeting space, coffee service, and luncheon reservations; makes travel arrangements for department or association staff, including transportation and hotel arrangements, as directed.

8. Must possess active NMLS number.

OTHER DUTIES:

1. Uses computer systems to assist department or association in activities such as preparing reports. May store/edit data through various software programs, spreadsheets, and databases.

2. Operates a variety of standard office equipment according to detailed instructions, which may include computers, paper shredders, telephones, photocopiers, fax machines and scanners.

3. Navigate and work in various software systems including loan origination, appraisal and loan accounting.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

General knowledge of accounting/financial systems. General knowledge of office equipment and systems used for the storage and retrieval of business information. General knowledge of standard records management and file classification practices. General knowledge of title insurance, crop insurance and credit life insurance documentation. General knowledge of documentation requirements for title policies, deeds of trust, and collateral. Specialized knowledge of written correspondence principles. Skill in oral and written communication. Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
