Job DetailsJob Location: Cullman Regional Medical Center - Cullman, AL 35056Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Professional ServicesJob Summary:         Prepare and dispense all medications timely and accurately.     Provide drug information to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff.     Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians.     Assist in training of pharmacy students and technicians.     Comply with all federal and state rules and regulations pursuant to distribution of medications.     Assist in drug use evaluation and quality assurance activities when requested.     Take an active role in participation of clinical duties in the pharmacy.     Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.       Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.                 QualificationsEducation:                 Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a bachelor's of science in pharmacy. Eligible for or currently licensed to practice pharmacy by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy. Parenteral certification and active controlled substances license are required.                 Experience:                 One year of experience in hospital pharmacy or equivalent training during clinical rotation portion of pharmacy school.                 Additional Skills/Abilities:                 Must have effective communication skills and good interpersonal relationships with staff members. Use of pharmacy software and other computer skills are preferred.
