We're seeking energetic, certified Group Fitness Instructors who can create engaging, safe, and inclusive classes that inspire participants of all fitness levels. If you enjoy building community, encouraging others, and making fitness fun, this is the opportunity for you.
What You'll Do
- Lead safe, engaging, and motivating group fitness classes in your area(s) of expertise.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where participants feel supported and challenged.
- Demonstrate proper exercise technique and provide modifications for varying fitness levels and abilities.
- Encourage participants while promoting proper form, injury prevention, and overall wellness.
- Arrive prepared, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure classes begin and end on time.
- Build positive relationships with members and help create an exceptional group fitness experience.
- Maintain current certifications and follow all wellness center policies and safety standards.

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certifications
- Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification for the class formats you teach (e.g., Les Mills, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, HIIT, Barre, Aqua Fitness, etc.).
- Nationally recognized Group Fitness certification preferred (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, AEA, or equivalent).
Experience
- Previous group fitness instruction experience preferred.
- Experience leading mind-body, strength, cardio, cycling, aquatic, or specialty fitness classes is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to safely lead engaging group fitness classes.
- Strong cueing, coaching, and instructional skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to motivate participants of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels.
- Knowledge of exercise science, proper movement mechanics, and injury prevention.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
