Rate Range: Upto $80/hr on W2
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1B, OPT, CPT

Must Have:

  • Multi-state payroll processing and compliance
  • Payroll systems: Workday, UKG/Kronos, ADP
  • Payroll audits, reconciliations, and GL validation
  • Payroll tax regulations and wage and hour compliance
  • Advanced Excel (large dataset analysis)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and validation of payroll, tax, and GL data
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Support SOX and external audits with required documentation
  • Drive payroll process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Support system configuration, testing, and integrations across payroll platforms
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and Legal on payroll-related initiatives
  • Prepare payroll reports, analyze variances, and present insights to leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years payroll experience in large, multi-state environment
  • Strong experience with payroll systems and integrations
  • Deep understanding of payroll compliance and internal controls
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and resolving discrepancies

Nice to Have:

  • CPP certification
  • Experience with international payroll
  • Exposure to union or labor agreement payroll rules
