The Temporary Inventory Associate provides short-term support for inventory and online store operations for approximately the next four to five months. This role focuses on day-to-day inventory management, receiving, cycle counts, and supporting the Culver Eagle Outfitters online store, including order fulfillment and customer correspondence. The position works closely with the Retail Manager to ensure continuity of operations during a high-volume retail period.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•   Assist with inventory management for the retail store and online shop
•   Receive and accurately enter inventory into Shopify and related systems
•   Support cycle counts and assists with physical inventory processes
•   Assist with the Culver Eagle Outfitters online store (www.culver.org/shop), including:
o   Loading inventory and writing basic product descriptions
o   Processing and fulfilling online orders and returns
o   Responding to customer inquiries as needed
•   Open and/or close the store and provide backup Retail Clerk support when required
This position is temporary in nature, and responsibilities may be adjusted based on operational needs during the coverage period.
REQUIREMENTS:
•   A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
•   Prior retail or inventory experience preferred
•   Experience using Shopify or similar platforms desirable
•   Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
•   Basic administrative and bookkeeping aptitude
•   Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
•   Ability to maintain confidentiality
•   Proficiency with data entry and basic reporting
•   Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and related software
