JOB SUMMARY:
A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks; ensuring that the load is correct and secure for transport.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, and Loading requirements
- Packaging cabinets while moving down the assembly line and using strapping machine to secure box for loading
- Use scanning system to ensure correct components are assembled
- Accurately interpret production labels and scan cabinets and parts
- Occasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loading
- Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to follow all handling, staging, and loading (HSL) requirements
- Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
- Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.

Required Physical Ability:
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working in an indoor environment with excessive hot, humid, and cold temperatures
- Protective safety gear will be required including safety glasses and gloves
- The noise level is usually moderate to high
- Occasional overtime and weekend work as required
