Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Katy TX - Katy, TX 77494Salary Range: $16.80 - $25.20 HourlyJob Summary: The Production Assembler I performs basic assembly operations under supervision while learning company production procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. This role focuses on developing foundational manufacturing skills, following detailed instructions, and supporting production targets while maintaining compliance with safety and ISO quality standards.  Responsibilities/Job Duties: Assemble suction units, install coalescers, and other components according to shop manuals and production instructions. Follow assembly drawings, basic P&ID layouts, and written work instructions. Prepare parts and components for product assembly or processing. Operate basic hand and power tools such as impact guns, wrenches, drills, and band saws under supervision. Assist with oil flushes and component preparation activities. Perform basic visual inspections of parts and assemblies to identify defects. Report quality or safety concerns to supervisors immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with 5S practices. Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and hazard awareness procedures. Comply with ISO 9001 quality standards, documented work instructions, and manufacturing procedures. Assist other production team members to meet daily production goals. Safely operate pallet jacks and assist with material movement when trained. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequirements: Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures. Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and P&ID layouts. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn manufacturing processes. Good teamwork and communication skills. Ability to safely use basic hand tools. Able to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks. Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures. Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions. Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to work overtime as needed.  Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.  Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and work in confined spaces. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate production tools and equipment.
