About the Role:

Southeast General Construction Inc. is looking for a sharp and driven Commercial Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Cumming, GA. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in winning projects and shaping the future of our commercial construction portfolio. Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects from bid documents and blueprints
Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment across all trades
Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work to identify potential risks and cost impacts
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers during the pre-construction phase
Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and estimating templates
Support bid submissions, proposal writing, and client presentations

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore
Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and trades
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
