Job Title: Sanitation Coordinator
FLSA: Non-Exempt
General Function:
Responsible for sanitation and general maintenance of the facility.

Reporting Relations:
Accountable and Reports to: AVP of Warehouse Operations, Director of Compliance/Safety & Security and Warehouse Supervisor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
- Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
- General maintenance duties including but not limited to minor plumbing, mechanical and electrical.
- Coordinating of disposal of trash, recycling and damaged product to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Responsible for cleanliness and appearance of Lomar Distributing facilities, inside and out. Duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, power washing, scrubbing, dusting, and sanitizing.
- General janitorial duties within offices, restrooms and breakrooms.
- Complies with all Lomar security procedures when monitoring non-Lomar employed truck drivers and/or visitors.
- Orders sanitation and maintenance supplies as needed.Ā
- Adheres to all food Safety and general safety guidelines and performs work in a safe manner.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Attends departmental and company meetings.
- Assists with setup/teardown of large group meetings.
- Performs duties of a Warehouse Generalist when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- Must have the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions.

Physical Requirements:
- Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
- Must be physically able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:
Most of the duties of this position are performed in a warehouse environment, but the employee will be exposed to an outdoor setting. There will be exposure to noise, dust, dirt, temperature extremes, dampness, and chemicals/solvents and equipment including batteries.
Equipment Used to Perform Job:
Scrubber, mop, hand tools, power tools, vacuum, and industrial power truck and equipment.
Contacts:
Has daily contact with warehouse personal and contractors. Deals with other companies and the general public.
