Northside Hospital is seeking a candidate for a position that ensures a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
The role requires at least six months of hospital experience or equivalent experience in security, safety, or law enforcement, with one year of college as a possible substitute.
Candidates must possess excellent public relations and communication skills, along with knowledge of security and safety procedures.
The position requires Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or completion of the course within three months of employment, as well as BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification upon hire.
Work hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekend availability required, but there are no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

Conducts activities to provide a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors, and employees. Required to interface with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Six (6) months Hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation. One (1) year of college may be substituted. 2. Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures. 3. Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills. 4. Must either possess Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or successfully complete the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment. 5. Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.

Work Hours:

6:00am - 2:30pm
