About the Role

As an HVAC Service Technician at Team Cheeky, you'll be responsible for delivering five-star service while diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems. You'll be trusted to educate homeowners, solve problems the right way, and represent our company with professionalism and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups while identifying reliability and safety concerns.
• Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options so they can make informed decisions—without high-pressure sales tactics.
• Identify replacement opportunities when repair is no longer the best option and properly transition those opportunities through company processes.
• Accurately complete invoices, notes, photos, estimates, and job documentation using ServiceTitan.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company vehicle.
• Participate in weekly training and continuing education to improve technical, customer service, and communication skills.
• Work as part of a supportive team that values communication, collaboration, and helping one another succeed.
• Follow all company safety standards and industry best practices.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that earns five-star reviews and long-term customer relationships.
• Work scheduled on-call rotations as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and mechanical HVAC issues.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and ServiceTitan or similar field service software.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor weather conditions.

Preferred

• 2 or more years of residential HVAC service experience.
• NATE Certification (preferred but not required).
• Experience presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners
• Experience servicing all major HVAC brands.
