Your Career Path

Your journey through the Cheeky Tech Academy starts with classroom instruction, hands-on shop training, and ride-alongs with experienced technicians. Most apprentices complete 8–12 weeks of structured training, and many earn opportunities to advance into Maintenance Technician roles within 2–3 months based on performance.

Maintenance Technician: $18-$24/hour

Service Technician: $20-$40+/hour

Senior Technician: $26-$30/hour

Master Technician: $36-$40+/hour

About the Role

As a Tech Academy Apprentice, you'll begin learning the HVAC or Plumbing trade alongside experienced professionals while getting paid.

You'll assist technicians, learn proper installation and service procedures, perform basic maintenance tasks, develop mechanical skills, and build the foundation needed for a successful career.

No previous HVAC or Plumbing experience is required.

What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to becoming the best.

What You'll Do

• Ride alongside experienced HVAC and Plumbing professionals
• Learn safety procedures and proper tool usage
• Assist with maintenance, repairs, and installations
• Help keep trucks clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Learn how to communicate professionally with homeowners
• Develop troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Participate in weekly classroom and hands-on training
• Complete Cheeky Tech Academy milestones
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Become better every single week

Qualifications

Required

• Positive attitude

• Able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors

No HVAC or Plumbing experience is required.
