Description


APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop next generation memory features including preventing data corruption using deep understanding of memory (DRAM) protocols and electrical engineering principles. Validate various memory features to check adaptability for next generation processors in Apple. Perform DRAM performance, RAS features and failure analysis. Understand the whole mobile system with memory controllers. Investigate memory reliabilities in real systems to prevent memory fragilities, which can be caused by exploiting well known weaknesses like DRAM refreshes. Involved in setting up specifications of future memories. Measure and optimize DRAM power to achieve better system power consumption with memory. Evaluate DRAM reliability in system to exploit random attacks to memory. Validate DRAM thermal characteristics for system level throttling of self-heating. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $156,853 - $213,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications


Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Utilizing Semiconductor Device Physics to work on DRAM failure analysis by transistor defects. Utilizing Electronic Circuit Design for DRAM validation. Utilizing DRAM cell structure and operation to work on DRAM characteristics validation. Utilizing JEDEC memory standard and specifications for optimizing DRAM test patterns. Utilizing Programming skills to work on handling massive DRAM test data. Utilizing knowledge of DRAM operations to debug DRAM failures working with System on Chip. Utilizing knowledge of DRAM reliability to test and validate data corruption in memory.
