Description
In this particular role we are looking for a senior design engineer to join our team and help lead future architecture platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with full product architecture and all of the cross-functional specialties that need to be considered (mechanical, materials, reliability, EE, RF, de-sense, energy storage, display, input devices, etc). In this position, you will assist in the following activities: drive design from blue sky concept through a coherent and resolved architecture contribute novel design solutions to new and existing challenges, aspiring to think different prototyping new product ideas by 3D modeling, fabricating, and assembling mockups
Minimum Qualifications
BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required; MS preferred. 10+ years designing consumer electronics or similarly complex products 3D CAD modeling – i.e., NX (preferred), SolidWorks, ProE excellent communication skills—your ideas are only as good as your ability to share them
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selecting appropriate engineering materials and manufacturing methods (CNC, forming, injection molding, rapid prototyping, etc.) able to characterize designs, run DOEs, and conduct root cause failure analysis genuine curiosity
