You will lead designs from early concept exploration through mass production, working hands-on with simulations, prototypes, and validation in the lab. You will partner closely with mechanical, thermal, reliability, and manufacturing teams to deliver compact, efficient, and robust power solutions that meet demanding design goals and ship at high volume. This is a highly technical, individual-contributor role for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, sweating the details, and taking full ownership of their design from first principles to factory ramp.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s in EE or related field and a minimum of 10 years of industry experience Experience with AC/DC power conversion topologies such as flyback, resonant converter and PFC design Strong foundation in semiconductor and power electronics fundamentals, including silicon/GaN behavior, circuit analysis, control systems, magnetics, and embedded systems for power control Proven ability to lead technical discussions and work effectively with cross-functional mechanical, thermal, reliability, and manufacturing teams

Preferred Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. in EE, with 5 years or equivalent of relevant working experience Experience in high-volume adapter development, with familiarity in manufacturing processes, tolerances, and production variation. Mastery of offline AC-DC power supply design , including topology selection (flyback, forward, LLC, other Resonant topologies) and high efficiency PFC design with advanced analog/digital control techniques Prior experience with a power supply module or adapter company is highly desirable End-to-end design capability - analytical modeling, in-depth simulation experience including parasitics , prototype bring-up, validation, and design-for-manufacturing Expertise in safety and EMC regulatory compliance, component selection, high-density layout, and cutting-edge efficiency optimization (including no-load and light-load techniques) Deep understanding of thermals, mechanical integration, packaging, and power density tradeoffs Experience in high frequency magnetic designs including magnetic material selection and various winding construction for power transformers and filters Excellent communication and presentation skills
