Description
During the concept design of a product, the candidate will be responsible for driving and creating requirements, identifying the best HW solutions available, and designing the SW algorithms. In this role, you will work on signal processing, machine learning, and data fusion techniques to enhance the capabilities of our sensing technologies. The individual will also be responsible for the overall sensor integration and tuning in the product and ensuring the highest quality execution. Proven capability to deploy models to resource-constrained embedded systems, ensuring that the product meets the desired experience requirements and performance metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
M.S. in EE, CE, CS, or equivalent experience or skills. Algorithm design for classification, noise modeling/filtering, signal processing, statistical analysis, and machine learning. Experience with data analysis, visualization of complex data in Python and/or MATLAB, and presenting resulting conclusions. Implementation into embedded or resource-constrained systems in C/C++ in production environments. Able to learn how to quantify and test new sensing technologies such as IMU, capacitive, environmental, light, motion, radar, optical, acoustic, and evaluate user impact and performance. Availability to travel domestically and internationally for development and on-site manufacturing support is also expected.
Preferred Qualifications
Good team player with great communication and leadership skills and ability to lead high-level discussions on technology strategy and approach. Prior experience with end-to-end development, taking a feature from concept to ship. Proven technical leadership skills with the ability to generate and deliver creative problem solutions. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams/projects and driving projects of varying sizes and scopes. Availability to travel domestically and internationally for development and on-site manufacturing support is also expected.
