Description


APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop system frameworks and interfaces, primarily using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C. Implement import/export of user data and wireless transmission between devices. Contribute to software architecture and functional requirements for system-level OS capabilities. Take ownership of specific engineering projects and timelines, including scoping, development schedules, and bug prioritization relative to shipping deadlines. Conduct testing and performance optimization to deliver highly optimized code in performance-critical environments. Communicate progress, plan changes, options, and recommendations to management and senior engineering leadership as each project evolves. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,365 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Experience and/or education must include: Performing Application and User Interface development using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C Utilizing multi-threaded programming and concurrency frameworks for distributed and asychronous workloads Utilizing cross-process communication, notify/observer design patterns, and process/data sandboxing strategies to facilitate system-level feature development Utilizing spatial rendering concepts for AR/VR applications Utilizing Continuous Integration and Development pipelines to deliver shipping software Translating design requirements into functional specifications across multiple teams and dependent components Debugging and triaging using interactive debuggers, system logs, and crash report analysis Providing concise updates to varying levels of corporate engineering and leadership
